Note:
While breaking towards a corner base the Pitcher MUST glance at the ball. If the ball goes past the infielders, the pitcher’s responsibility changes.
They now follow the rules for a Ball Hit to the Outfield:
Back-up a throw from the outfielder to a base; which could be to Second Base.
If there was a runner at Second Base at the start of the play, the Pitcher sets up as the Cut-Relay Player between the outfielder and Home Plate.
Skill Building Warm-up
6-5: Ball delivered a couple steps to Shortstop’s right; Pitcher sprints to Back-up
Rotation: SS > 3b > P> SS (extra player is at Shortstop; jumps in on the next repetition).
