Practice Plans - Overview

Click the Practice Plans tab in the header to access the list of plans.

The 14 Practice Plans in this section are designed for the ages 11-12 and ages 9-11 levels of play. Coach/Machine Pitch, and Tee-Ball will be added. In the meantime, much of the content can be applied to younger levels for those of you working with kids over the winter (and for folks in the Southern Hemisphere who are heading into summer).

***The system application currently has the sequence of info, for some practice plans, out of order in the smart phone view.

Days 1 & 2 address foundational pieces.  The plans then follow a step-by-step process for training all aspects of team play up through First & Third Defense and Bunt Defense.

The development of the Batting Swing and Pitching Delivery are sewn into each practice.

Batting & Pitching instruction points are found at the top of the ‘Playing Catch Practice’ section of each Practice Plan (beginning in Practice #3). Additional Batting and Pitching info is found in the appendix following each Practice plan.

The ‘Batting’ Tab on the website has info supporting that aspect of the Practice Plans. A similar section for Pitching Instruction will be added.

Plans for Practices 1-12 (Diagrams, Explanations, etc.) are pretty much complete.  Links to Daily Batting & Pitching Instruction need to be added.  Supporting info for practices plans 13-14 are close to complete.
